Luang Namtha’s population of 180,000 people is made up of 39 ethnic groups. Every group coexists harmoniously while having unique dialects, cultures, and lifestyles; this is an example of traditional solidarity. The majority of residents in Luang Namtha are farmers who work primarily in small rural settlements.
